The leather trimmed Rear A/C unit includes a new central cubby box designed to house the air conditioning components, plus the necessary hoses and interface manifold that connects to the front system.
This cubby box comes fully assembled and is a drop-in replacement.
The unit design incorporates a new floor plate for the vehicle, replacing the original floor plate that is beneath the cubby box or third seat if fitted. The Rear A/C unit consists of twin blowers, with 3D printed components for improved drainage, ducting and airflow.
This is combined with a large evaporator coil, suitable for cooling long wheelbase Defenders.
The unit now features a cigar lighter, providing a 20A outlet for high power accessories.
Improvements have also been made to the mechanical components such as the cup holders, these are now machined from billet aluminium prior to finishing.
