Land Rover Defender 1983 - 2016
The Land Rover Defender was introduced in 1983 and was inspired by the Willys Jeep. During that time, 4x4 vehicles were mostly designed for functional purposes. However, the Defender has a longer history dating back to the production of the first Series One Land Rover in Solihull, West Midlands right after the Second World War.
The vehicle itself boasts a combination of rugged functionality and timeless style, making it a beloved choice for both urban and rural settings. The durable design has also made it a popular choice among restorers.
Lots of Defenders are still earning their keep today, but inevitably as a land rover grows older and is need more TLC, there’s a growing demand for the whole range of parts and compatible accessories.
