The USB Socket accepts a 12-24v input feed, making it suitable for both 12v and 24v applications. The output rating makes it ideal for keeping the latest generation of Apple and android products whilst on the move.
The USB socket is suitable for mounting in any of the MUD range of accessories that accept a power socket, e.g. Tunnel Tray, Cubby Box Switch Panel etc. The Dual USB also fits into the Puma/Tdci Defender as a replacement for the cigar lighter.
Pictured below in the genuine Defender Td5 Console. Note when fitting the socket to a the genuine Land Rover fascias you may need to open out the hole with a file (the difference is less than 1mm).
