This is a pair of metal heater control emblems to replace the original thin stickers that are on pre 1999 Defender dash instrument surrounds.
The original dash instrument panel often gets brittle or damaged and the replacement panels rarely come with the heater control stickers. We have found that the heater control stickers are difficult to secure in place and even more so if you have your dash retrimmed as the stickers will not stick to the leather nor do they give a premium finish. So, we decided to have these premium heater and fan control sliders produced.
They are cast in the UK and then hand detailed with enamel inlay before getting machined and lacquered. In addition to this they have studs on the rear, brass spreader plate and nuts so they have a mechanical fixing and not reliant on adhesive to keep them in place this makes them perfect for people who have trimmed their dash in leather or just wanting a premium finish on a restoration.
