The DA3412 FAI timing chain kit is a comprehensive replacement timing-chain kit for Land Rover models fitted with the 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel AJ200D / 204TD engine.

Why Might an Ingenium Timing Chain Need Replacing?

DA3412 – Comprehensive Timing Chain Kit
Adds the relevant timing sprockets and gaskets to the chains, guides and tensioners.
DA3413 – Timing Chain Kit with VVT Cog
The most comprehensive option, additionally including the Variable Valve Timing sprocket/cog.
If the condition of the existing sprockets or VVT components is uncertain, it is worth establishing exactly which components will be renewed before choosing between the kits.
Installation
Replacement of the timing-chain system on an Ingenium engine is a substantial engine repair and should be undertaken by a suitably experienced technician using the correct timing and locking equipment.
All timing marks, tightening procedures and torque specifications should be followed in accordance with the appropriate workshop information.
