BG1219 - BlakGlass® Sliding Window & Panoramic Glass Cut Out Template made from Aluminium - by SP 4x4

Are you looking at retrofitting our BlakGlass® sliding windows or BlakGlass® Panoramic glass kit to your Defender? This is what you will need to enable you to cut the correct size hole in your roof sides

Unlike others on the market which are made from paper, which you then have to cut out yourself, this is made from laser cut 1mm aluminium.


This can be kept in your garage and used time and time again if you ever do it to another vehicle, or ideal for garages who do these regularly

Our sliding windows are made to the later Defender spec which have 50mm top radius and 75mm bottom radius, which this template suits.


You can use this template if you are fitting other brand sliding windows or the older type windows which have 50mm radius on each corner, but you would just mark on the roof side all but the bottom 2 corners, and then flip the template upside down so you can then mark the 50mm radius on the bottom too

However if you are fitting our BlakGlass® sliding window kits (dark tinted or the slight green tint) then this will work without flipping upside down.

Really easy to align, the template is the exact height of a roof side, so just but the template up to under the roof gutter, and then to position it correctly horizontally, place it so the cutout at the back is 16cm from the back edge on 90 models and 14cm on 110 5 door models. Like on our diagram
